Which Vehicles Are Covered?
Not all vehicles for sale in the Norwood area are Wyler Assurance covered. Each vehicle must also first pass a reconditioning and inspection process. Furthermore, Tri-County, OH shoppers won't find any vehicles over 10 years old or with more than 100,000 miles on the odometer. Vehicles sold as-is are not eligible. Finally, certain makes, models, powertrains, equipment packages, and commercial use by the prospective owner may preclude Wyler Assurance.
What Does Wyler Assurance Cover?
Only parts mentioned are covered, with the addition of all seals and gaskets within each component group in conjunction with a covered repair. The vehicle's gas or diesel engine block and turbocharger are covered by failure of an internally lubricated part. Parts include pistons, piston rings and pins, crankshaft, and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and bearings, oil pump, timing chain, gears and/or belt, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, seats and guides, valve push rods, and lifters.
Transmission case and transfer case are covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part. Those parts include bands, clutch packs, gears, pumps, shafts, shift forks, shift rails, synchronizers, and solenoids. Additionally, the torque converter, bell housing, vacuum modulator, transmission mounts, and transmission pan are covered.
The axle/final drive housing is covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part. All lubricated parts, axle shafts, differential cover, universal joints and yokes, constant velocity and double offset joints, drive shaft center bearings, supports, and propeller shafts are covered.
